En el editorial de este nuevo número del Journal of Healthcare Quality Research (JHQR), Beatriz González López-Valcárcel analiza las políticas farmacéuticas en la era Trump y sus efectos en Estados Unidos y Europa.
La sección de originales incluye estudios sobre la comunicación y transferencia de información clínica en un hospital de tercer nivel, la experiencia de pacientes con pluripatología, la efectividad de intervenciones para reducir el burnout en profesionales, la seguridad y las enfermeras flotantes, el impacto de la simulación clínica en la seguridad quirúrgica y los resultados de la cardioversión eléctrica en pacientes con fibrilación auricular.
Asimismo, se presenta la iniciativa CARABELA, orientada a promover una atención más efectiva, eficiente y centrada en la persona para pacientes con enfermedades crónicas en España.
Las cartas científicas abordan la aplicación de la Ley de eutanasia y la relación entre habilidades sociales y calidad de los datos sanitarios.

In the editorial of this new issue of the Journal of Healthcare Quality Research (JHQR), Beatriz González López-Valcárcel analyzes pharmaceutical policies in the Trump era and their effects in the United States and Europe.
The original articles section includes studies on the communication and transfer of clinical information in a tertiary hospital, the experience of patients with multimorbidity, the effectiveness of interventions to reduce burnout among professionals, safety and float nurses, the impact of clinical simulation on surgical safety, and the outcomes of electrical cardioversion in patients with atrial fibrillation.
The CARABELA initiative is also presented, aimed at promoting more effective, efficient, and person-centered care for patients with chronic conditions in Spain.
The scientific letters address the implementation of the euthanasia law and the relationship between social skills and the quality of healthcare data.
